Commerzbank opened its branch in Vienna in 2009, establishing it from the Dresdner Bank branch which had already been set up in 2000. Decades of experience have allowed Commerzbank to gain insight into the Austrian market, with all its particularities and rules. As the market leader in German corporate banking, we handle around 30 per cent of German foreign trade. We are a strong partner with specialist know-how and country expertise, supporting Austrian corporates in their internationalisation and growth strategies. We service over 70,000 corporate clients, multinational groups, financial service providers and institutional clients worldwide. In Germany, Commerzbank has the densest network of all corporate client branches, with 100 corporate client locations, and is globally represented in almost 40 countries.
